Provo • All health advisories have been lifted for Utah Lake.

The Daily Herald reports that recent samples taken by the Utah Department of Environmental Quality have shown minimal concentrations of cyanobacteria, commonly known as blue-green algae.

Utah County Health Department officials lifted the advisories.

Three buoys were placed in the lake to collect data through October.

Crews visit the lake weekly.
